For the last week Ethan has been giving us a hard time putting on his shoes. At one point he even made a face indicating they were to small. After taking him to the shoe store and having his feet measured it seems his shoes are the correct size- for now. So, we were left wondering why all of the sudden he refused to put on his shoes. Well, folks it appears we have a big boy in the making. He wants to put on his own shoes. Apparently he no longer needs our help. He's done this a couple of times and to our surprise its always on the correct foot that corresponds with his shoe. Yay!!

 

I would love nothing more than to keep him as a baby a tad bit longer, but I know the best thing for him is to start dressing himself. He's can pull on his pants, put on his shirt, and now shoes. Still struggles a little to put those darn socks but I'm sure he'll have those puppies figured out in no time.

 

Watching him learn these new things is exciting. Next on the list... potty training.
